Achebes beliefs are, for the most part, perpetual as they are unearthed throughout his novel, Things Fall Apart. In the sixteenth chapter of the novel, a group of diversify evangelical Christians comes to the Ibo village. Achebe expresses his beliefs about this event through a communion between Okonkwo and Obeirika which reveals two important issues.
